Special Olympics athletes will be the winners with Polar Plunge

With close to 40 plungers already committed, Peel Regional Police are aiming to raise $40,000 with the third annual Polar Plunge Feb. 25.

The 12 teams registered so far include Chief Jennifer Evans and her senior management team, who will be taking the plunge into an icy cold pool of water all in the name of raising money for Special Olympics Ontario and the summer games that are being hosted, for the first time, here in Peel.
