Correctional Services Week 2026

Correctional Services Week recognizes the important work of correctional professionals and staff who help support the safety, rehabilitation, and wellbeing of communities across Ontario and Canada. The week highlights the dedication, professionalism, and compassion shown by individuals working throughout correctional services.

For many correctional professionals, that commitment to service extends beyond the workplace through their involvement with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario. Whether participating in fundraising events, volunteering at competitions, or building relationships with athletes, correctional staff across the province continue to play an important role in supporting Special Olympics Ontario and creating more inclusive communities.

During Correctional Services Week, we’re proud to recognize the officers and staff who go above and beyond in their support of Special Olympics athletes. Their passion, leadership, and dedication help strengthen the connection between law enforcement and the athletes, families, and communities we serve together.
