A group of hardy fundraisers will jump into a pool of ice-cold water in Brampton Feb. 25, and anyone can join in.
Peel Regional Police have organized the third annual Polar Plunge to raise money for athletes and the families of Special Olympics Ontario.
Last year, 90 plungers raised $40,000, up from the $28,000 raised by 72 plungers in the inaugural Peel event.
The plunge will take place at the Peel Regional Police Association building on Mississauga Road, north of Bovaird Drive, in Brampton.
