Corrections Week Spotlight: Jovan Milosevic

Jovan started his career in the OPS in 2015 as a Probation and Parole Officer working primarily with the Toronto Anti-Guns and Gangs. He later jumped over to institutional services working at three different provincial institutions. Jovan is currently the Deputy Superintendent of Security and Compliance at Toronto South Detention Centre. 

Over the years Jovan has been actively involved with LETR, volunteering both in the community and within corrections. Jovan is an avid runner and first got involved with LETR back in 2016, participating in a 10k run. Jovan is a proud advocate and supporter of LETR and the collective work done to raise funds for Special Olympics.

Over the years, Jovan has supported the LETR cause not only by participating in various fundraising events but supporting and organizing merchandise sales and fundraisers within his workplaces to raise awareness and funds. Jovan has always felt strongly connected to the spirit of Special Olympics Ontario and the impact LETR makes in celebrating abilities, promoting health, and inspiring athletes to achieve their best through sport and support.
